Daniel R. Rogers

Dan oversees Energos’ global legal, contractual, compliance and risk assessment and response framework across its LNG and maritime infrastructure platform, advising on the company’s complex, capital-intensive projects and transactions worldwide.

With more than 30 years of experience across the legal, LNG and maritime sectors, he previously served as co-head of King & Spalding’s global LNG legal practice.  In that role, he advised governments, banks, sponsors, developers, transporters and traders on some of the world’s most significant energy infrastructure projects and transactions, including projects and transactions spanning the entire LNG industry spectrum, from liquefaction/export, to transportation (including LNG vessels and infrastructure), to storage and associated regasification and send-out, to structured LNG and gas commodity trading and hedging.

Dan combines expertise in project finance, regulation and complex transactional structuring and negotiation with extensive experience and understanding of all forms of LNG infrastructure development and operations.  He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
